Date:

The Humanities Course in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, is conducting an archaeological excavation at the Asakura Castle ruins in Kochi City from February 27 to March 8, 2020. While this year’s survey also aims to gather basic information about the site, we will continue to focus on the “Nishi-no-dan” area, as we did last year, and strive to shed light on the broader nature of the Asakura Castle ruins. On Saturday, March 7, we plan to hold an on-site briefing on the progress of the survey, primarily for local residents. Visits are welcome at any time, so please feel free to stop by.
