◆The Future of Sewerage Systems: A Symposium from Kochi—The 4th Symposium, “The Future of Sewerage Projects in Small Municipalities,” Will Be Held
Date:
Small municipalities across the country are facing challenges such as population decline, deteriorating financial conditions, and aging infrastructure; however, even under these circumstances, they are required to sustainably operate their sewerage systems.
In Kochi Prefecture, which is facing challenges such as population decline ahead of the rest of the country, efforts are underway in Kochi City and other areas across the prefecture to develop new technologies to address these issues, and these technologies have now spread throughout Japan and overseas.
Kochi University, in collaboration with Kochi Prefecture, is pleased to announce the 4th Symposium on the Future of Sewerage Systems: Insights from Kochi. Under the overarching theme of “The Future of Sewerage Projects in Small-Scale Municipalities,” this event aims to contribute to the realization of sustainable sewerage systems by sharing the expertise of Kochi City and other local entities with sewerage professionals nationwide.
