◆The Future of Sewerage Systems: A Symposium from Kochi—The 5th Symposium, “The Role of Sewage Treatment Plants During the COVID-19 Pandemic,” Will Be Held

新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の流行により、下水モニタリングを活用し市中の感染状況を把握する研究「下水疫学」が注目を浴びています。
このたび高知大学では、日本全国の下水道関係者、自治体に対して下水疫学を広く紹介し、自治体における今後の感染症対策の一助となることを目的とした「高知から発信する下水道の未来 第５回シンポジウム コロナ禍における下水処理場の役割」を開催します。
本シンポジウムでは下水疫学に関する日本政府の動きや自治体による感染症対策への活用事例などについての講演を行い、パネルディスカッションでは、コロナ禍における下水処理場の役割やコロナ感染拡大が下水道へ与えた影響などについて議論を深めます。
