◆Announcement Regarding the First Symposium Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Kochi University: "The Challenge of Building a Sustainable Community Through LX"

Kochi University will host the 1st Kochi University 75th Anniversary Symposium, titled “The Challenge of Building a Sustainable Community Through LX.” (For more information, visit the special website for Kochi University’s 75th Anniversary Commemorative Events.)
The event will feature a keynote speech titled “The Future of Japan Shaped by Kochi’s Version of the Reverse Sankin-Kotai” by Tomoo Matsuda, Senior Research Fellow at the Mitsubishi Research Institute (and Visiting Professor at Kochi University), as well as reports on activities conducted by our university students in Susaki City, including at Susaki Comprehensive High School and TecTec Susaki.In addition, we will hold a panel discussion on “The Challenge of Sustainable Regional Development: ‘Susaki City, the Maritime Town’” featuring Mr. Matsuda, Mr. Tomoaki Arisawa, Deputy Director of the Susaki City Project Promotion Office, and Mr. Jiki Kurosasa, Representative of the Nankoku City Institute of Living Technology, as panelists.
