◆The 72nd Kuroshio Festival is coming up

Date:

The 72nd Kuroshio Festival will be held as follows:
The Kuroshio Festival is the university’s annual fall festival held on the Asakura Campus; however, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus, this will be the first in-person event in three years.

On the day of the event, we plan to hold a free-stage event at the North Gymnasium featuring student clubs, food stalls along Main Street, and indoor exhibitions. Additionally, the North Gymnasium will host a main stage performance by Tom Brown, Hiyoshi Nakayoshi, and the cast of Dekaranger; the South Gymnasium will host a Pokémon Unite tournament; and the north corridor of the General Education Building will feature the “Pop-Up Street Market,” which has been a popular attraction in previous years.

Please note that admission to the "Comedy Live" and "Discussing U-Turns and I-Turns with the Cast of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger in Kochi" events, to be held at the North Gymnasium on Sunday, October 30, requires a numbered ticket. Numbered tickets will be distributed starting at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event in front of General Education Building No. 2.

We hope you enjoy the Kuroshio Festival, which is packed with events. We look forward to seeing you there.
