The 2nd Symposium on the "Project to Enhance the Meat Quality and Brand Value of Tosa Akaushi," titled "The Future of Tosa Akaushi Unlocked by DX (*)," will be held in person and online as detailed below.
I will present the findings of a research project—funded since fiscal year 2021 by the National Horse Racing and Livestock Promotion Association’s Livestock Promotion Program—aimed at improving the meat quality and brand value of the Kochi strain of the Japanese Brown Cattle (Tosa Akaushi), a regionally designated breed. I will also discuss digital transformation (DX) initiatives designed to drive further growth for Tosa Akaushi and the livestock industry.
