◆Regarding the 2023 Kochi University Entrance Ceremony

The 2023 Kochi University Entrance Ceremony will be held as follows.
Attendance at the ceremony is limited to incoming students. The ceremony will also be streamed live online.
Record
Date and Time: Monday, April 3, 2023, 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Venue: Kochi Prefectural Citizens' Cultural Hall, Orange Hall (4-3-30 Honmachi, Kochi City)
Eligibility: Students entering in the 2023 academic year ( Faculty and Graduate School )
Following the ceremony, we will hold a "Speech by the Executive Director of Education" and a "Disaster Preparedness Lecture" (10 minutes each) for Faculty.
Graduate School, please leave the ceremony one by one after it concludes.
◆To All New Students
We will not require attendees to wear masks during the ceremony. However, we ask for your cooperation in following basic infection prevention measures, such as handwashing and hand sanitizing.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Please arrive early, as the venue is expected to be crowded just before the ceremony begins.
If you are feeling unwell, such as having cold symptoms, please stay home.
◆To family members, relatives, and other concerned parties
We kindly ask that only incoming students attend; guests are not permitted.
Please watch the ceremony via the live stream below.
You are welcome to enter the university campus, but please use public transportation when visiting.

Information on Commemorative Photos
We will be setting up commemorative signs at the Asakura, Okayu, and Monobe Campuses to celebrate your enrollment. Please feel free to use them for commemorative photos. [Display Period: Saturday, April 1 – Sunday, April 9]
