Kochi University Homecoming Day is an annual event designed to invite alumni and others with ties to the university to visit the campus and reconnect with the institution.
We are pleased to announce that the 13th Kochi University Homecoming Day, "Kochi University Homukami 2023," will be held in person for the first time in four years.
当日は各学部等の催しのほか、10時から朝倉キャンパス北体育館で開催するセレモニーでは、”大学の今”、”大学が目指す姿”をお伝えします。さらに、特別講演として俳人の夏井いつき氏をお迎えし、俳句を通じた老若男女世代を超えた絆・共感の輪の広がりなどについてお話いただきます。
●The 13th Kochi University Homecoming Day: "Kochi University Homukami 2023"
・Date and Time: Saturday, November 4, 2023, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
・Location: Kochi University Asakura Campus (2-5-1 Akebono-cho, Kochi City)
*The 73rd Kochi University Kuroshio Festival is also being held on the same day at the same location.

・Yasuda Town: Sales of Anta-ro merchandise and food items (sushi, baked goods, cherry tomatoes, etc.), and more
・Konan City / Kami City / Nankoku City... Promoting tourism in the Monobe River area and selling local specialties (such as Yamakita mandarins, Yamakita lemonade, and canelés), among other activities
・Okawa Village: Sales of local specialties (such as fried Tosa Hachikin free-range chicken) and more
・Shimanto Town: Introduction to collaborative initiatives with Kochi University, and more
・Kuroshio Town... Exhibition of promotional posters for "The Town That Brings Fantasies to Life," a fantasy writing corner, and more

10:10 AM– Opening Remarks (Katsutoshi Sakurai, President of Kochi University)
10:20 AM– Project Presentations
We will introduce Kochi University’s current initiatives and share our vision for the future.
11:10 AM– Singing of the University Anthem (Kochi University Choir)
11:30 AM– Special Lecture: “A Life with Haiku” by Haiku Poet Itsuki Natsui

Homecoming Day Art Exhibition
第13回高知大学ホームカミングデー教育学部企画の一つとして、学生・教員による展覧会を開催します。
We hope that by inviting more alumni to visit the campus and view the results of our ongoing research, we can foster interaction between them and our current students.
