◆We are hosting a lecture on building a multicultural society—Japanese language education for a society that coexists with a diverse workforce of international talent

Date:

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce a lecture titled “Reflecting on a Multicultural Society: Japanese Language Education for a Society Living in Harmony with Diverse Foreign Talent.”

Japanese society today is supported in many ways by the contributions of "foreign talent." In this context, Japanese—as the common language—plays a vital role, and Japanese language education is becoming increasingly important.

On the day of the event, we will welcome Ms. Kazuko Shimada, Representative Director of the Aclass Japanese Language Education Institute, as our guest speaker. She will discuss Japanese language education aimed at improving the Japanese language proficiency of foreign workers and creating “a rich and livable society for both Japanese and foreign residents.” We also hope to reflect together on the communication skills of Japanese people.

Anyone interested in Japanese language education is welcome to attend, so we look forward to seeing many of you there.
