For this lecture, we are pleased to welcome Attorney Ibusuki—a member of both the defense team for the criminal complaint and the defense team for the state compensation lawsuit regarding the death of a Sri Lankan woman at the Nagoya Immigration Bureau—as our speaker. Through this case, we will examine the current state of Japan’s criminal justice system.
