The Kochi University Degree Conferment Ceremony for the 2023 Academic Year will be held as follows.
Date and Time: Friday, March 22, 2024
Venue: Kochi Prefectural Cultural Hall (4-3-30 Honmachi, Kochi City)

◆To Our Graduates and Program Completers
Please check this page, KULAS messages, and the bulletin board for any requests or announcements regarding attendance.
◆To family members, relatives, and other concerned parties
Family members and other attendees may view Part 1 in the Green Hall, and Part 2 either from the second-floor seating in the Orange Hall or via a live broadcast in the Green Hall.
A numbered ticket is required to attend Part 2. These tickets were sent to the email addresses of those who pre-registered on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 19. Please have your ticket ready when you arrive, following the instructions below.
※Pre-registration is now closed.
※We plan to reserve a limited number of same-day seats for those who did not pre-register; however, please note that admission cannot be guaranteed due to limited seating. We appreciate your understanding.
1) On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 19, we sent an admission ticket to the email address you provided, specifying your admission time and the hall you will be entering. Please save the file or print it out and have it ready.
2) On the day of the event, please arrive at the venue within the designated time and present your admission ticket—either displayed on your mobile device or printed on paper—at the hall reception desk.
Please note that if you arrive after your designated entry time or do not have your admission ticket, you will be treated as a walk-in attendee, and we cannot guarantee a seat.
3) Please be aware that we cannot accommodate requests to add additional attendees after registration. There is no need to contact us if the number of attendees decreases or if you need to cancel.
How to Receive Your Diploma
Degree certificates for graduates other than the representatives receiving them at the various ceremonies will be handed out at the venue after the ceremony concludes.
