◆75th Anniversary Ceremony: "Toward Noble and Inspiring Knowledge" Held

Kochi University will host an entertainment-style ceremony to commemorate its 75th anniversary, titled "Toward Noble and Inspiring Knowledge."
The ceremony will depict the past, present, and future of Kochi University, beginning with the words of Mr. Atsuo Ebe, the first principal of the former Kochi High School: “Be inspired, young people; a life without inspiration is empty.”
Through a blend of spoken-word theater and music that traces the history of Kochi University from its founding to the present day, this production weaves together Yosakoi Naruko dancing, other dance performances, and speeches by the university president, the governor of Kochi Prefecture, and Kochi University students. Utilizing visual effects such as video projections and lighting, it paints a new picture of Kochi University.
We invite you to come and experience Kochi University’s new initiatives firsthand at the venue.
Location: Kochi Prefectural Citizens' Cultural Hall, Orange Hall (4-3-30 Honmachi, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture 780-0870)
Date and Time: Sunday, November 3, 2024 (a national holiday), starting at 3:30 p.m. (Doors open at 3:00 p.m.)
