The 2025 Kochi University Entrance Ceremony will be held as follows.

◆To All New Students
開式直前は混雑が予想されますので、時間に余裕を持ってご来場ください。
なお、学部学生向けの講話を同会場にて12時20分頃まで開催しますので出席してください。
◆To family members, relatives, and other concerned parties
(1) Information for Attendees of the Ceremony
You can watch the live broadcast of the ceremony at the Green Hall (Sub Hall) of the Kochi Prefectural Citizens' Cultural Hall.
Please note that Advance registration via the internet is required to attend the ceremony. If you wish to attend, please review the information below under “Application for Attendance – From Application to Entry on the Day” before applying. Applications are scheduled to open on Monday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m.
[From Registration to Attendance on the Day of the Ceremony]
1) Please apply using the application form at the URL below.

Even if the admission results have not been announced by the application deadline, you may still apply on the assumption that you have been accepted.
・You may register up to two people per application.
・The URL for the application form will be posted before the application period begins.
2) After completing your application, an automatic reply will be sent to the email address you provided.
・Please make sure the email address you enter in the application form is correct.
・Please ensure that any email blocking settings are disabled before applying.
・If you do not receive an automatic reply email, please contact gm04★kochi-u.ac.jp (please replace ★ with @ when sending). We will check your application status and a representative will reply to you.
3) On the afternoon of Monday, March 31, we will send a ticket to the email address you provided. Please save or print the file and have it ready.
4) Please arrive by the time indicated on your ticket and present it (either on your smartphone screen or as a printed copy) to the staff at the Green Hall entrance.
・If you do not have a numbered ticket or arrive after the designated time, you may not be admitted.
・As seating in the auditorium is limited, we kindly ask that you limit your registration to a maximum of two guests per incoming student. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation so that as many family members and guests of the incoming students as possible may attend.
・The ceremony will be viewed via a live feed in the Sub Hall. You will not be able to enter the main ceremony venue to watch the event.
・We do not accept requests for specific seats.
・Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once the capacity (approximately 500 seats) is reached.
・We plan to reserve a limited number of walk-in seats, but please note that admission cannot be guaranteed due to limited availability. We appreciate your understanding.
・Please note that we cannot accommodate requests to add participants after registration. There is no need to notify us if the number of participants decreases or if you need to cancel.
Application Period: Monday, March 17, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – Monday, March 24, 2025, 5:00 p.m.

式典終了後に各学部等の後援会総会を開催します。詳しくは別途郵送の書類をご確認ください。
◆Important Information for Visitors
・There is no parking available at the venue, so please use public transportation whenever possible. If you are coming by car, please use the paid parking lots in the vicinity of the venue, and please refrain from dropping off or picking up passengers in front of the venue or on the surrounding roads.
・To ensure sufficient seating and clear aisles, please refrain from bringing large items such as suitcases. We are unable to store such items at the reception desk, so please store them in a coin-operated locker or similar facility before arriving.
Information on Commemorative Photos
We will be setting up commemorative signs at the Asakura, Okayu, and Monobe campuses to celebrate your enrollment. Please feel free to use them for commemorative photos. [Display period: Saturday, March 29 – Thursday, April 10]
