◆ Announcement Regarding the "3rd 'Local × Global' Seminar: Mazekoja KOCHI—Bringing Tosa and the World Together"

On Sunday, February 16, 2025, the "3rd 'Local × Global' Seminar: Mazekojya KOCHI—Bringing Tosa and the World Together" will be held at Kochi University’s Asakura Campus.
This seminar is being held with the aim of revitalizing Kochi Prefecture—which is facing a declining birthrate and an aging population—through regional internationalization, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable local community.
This year’s theme is “From International Exchange to International Collaboration: Exploring Community Development Through Global-Local Partnerships.” Join us as we reexamine the concept of “the local within the global, and the global within the local” alongside practitioners of “regional revitalization and internationalization” from within and outside Kochi Prefecture, as well as foreign residents active in Kochi. Let’s use this as an opportunity to explore together how we can achieve sustainable regional development. If you’re interested, we hope you’ll join us.
