We are pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition “The Current State of Cultural Property Preservation and Restoration in Kochi: Through Ekin’s Theater-Themed Folding Screens,” organized by Natsuko Sports and Arts Initiatives Codevelopment Program in Graduate SchoolSports and Arts Initiatives Codevelopment ProgramGraduate School.
Through this exhibition, which features research on theater-themed folding screens by Ekin and others as well as on local festivals, we hope to shed light on the current state of cultural property preservation and restoration in Kochi Prefecture, as well as the transmission of regional culture. We will also be hosting gallery talks during the exhibition period.
