The Office for the Promotion of Gender Equality is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a public lecture titled "Diversity in SOGI."
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Shin Miyata, representative of "Rainbow Kochi"—an NPO based primarily in Kochi Prefecture where members of the sexual minority community work to eliminate discrimination, prejudice, and social isolation—as our guest speaker. He will discuss the basics of SOGI, practical initiatives in the local community, and what we can do to help.
