We are hosting the 7th buntan café: "Let’s Learn Together! SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) – The Key to Taking Control of Your Own Life."
The Office for the Promotion of Gender Equality organizes events on a variety of topics.
For this session, we have invited a speaker from JOICFP—an organization with many years of experience in the field of international cooperation—to discuss SRHR (sexual and reproductive health and rights). They will introduce us to their domestic and international activities, including those focused on youth sexuality and maternal and child health. We will also hold a workshop using original educational materials actually employed in their work.
JOICFP is also active within Japan, and in August 2025, it released the results of its “2025 Survey on Attitudes Toward Sex and Romance,” which surveyed approximately 9,000 people in Japan. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the current state of young people’s attitudes toward sex in Japan. It is also a chance to speak directly with NGO representatives, so we encourage anyone interested in international cooperation to join us.
Students, faculty, staff, and members of the general public are all welcome to attend (no registration required). Please feel free to drop by—just as if you were visiting a café.
