◆The 75th Kuroshio Festival is Coming Up

The 75th Kuroshio Festival will be held as follows.
The Kuroshio Festival is a university festival held every fall on the Asakura Campus.On the day of the festival, a variety of events—including comedy shows, band performances, choral concerts, and wind ensemble performances—will take place on the main stage in front of Media Forest, allowing you to fully experience the students’ enthusiasm. Additionally, at the special Yosakoi dance venue in front of the North Gymnasium, you can enjoy street-style performances by a total of 15 teams, including award-winning teams from the main Yosakoi Festival. Along Main Street and in the General Education Building, we plan to have a wide variety of food and merchandise stalls that everyone—adults, children, and students alike—can enjoy.
In addition, to commemorate our 75th anniversary this year, we’re welcoming two special guests. On Saturday, November 1, at 3:00 PM, we’ll be joined by the comedy duo “Go☆Jasu” from Sun Music, and on Sunday, November 2, at 3:00 PM, actress Himari Hitomizu—who also appeared in the NHK morning drama series “Anpan”—will make an appearance!
