◆Inspiration☆Excitement Science Project: "The Mechanism and Diversity of Ascidian Development—The Astonishing Body Building Displayed by Our Strange Relatives"
Date:
We are hosting "Inspiration & Excitement in Science: Welcome to the University Lab"—a KAKENHI-funded event titled "The Mechanisms and Diversity of Sea Squirt Development: The Amazing Body Structures of Our Strange Relatives."
In this program, we will focus on tunicates—organisms that are evolutionarily closely related to us vertebrates—and conduct simple experiments to observe their bodies and embryos and investigate the mechanisms of cell differentiation. Through these observations and experiments, participants will gain a firsthand understanding of the mysteries of life’s origins and the fascination of scientific research.
We look forward to your participation, high school students.
