本講演会「フランスの植民地支配に抗する—独立を掲げたアルジェリア民衆の闘争と革命」につきまして、現在のイラン情勢の悪化により講演者のムハンマド・サーラフ・ブークシュール氏が来日できない状況となったため、やむを得ず中止させていただくことになりました。
本講演会については来年度に延期とする予定ですので、日程等が決まりましたら再度ご案内いたします。

人文社会科学部は、講演会「フランスの植民地支配に抗する—独立を掲げたアルジェリア民衆の闘争と革命」を下記の要領で開催します。
Algeria, located in the Maghreb region of North Africa (narrowly defined as the Western Islamic world comprising Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria), achieved independence after enduring long-term, direct French colonial rule (1830-1962) and an eight-year armed struggle (1954-1962).The struggle, where the people took up arms and used the intricate layout of the old city to corner the French army, is vividly recreated in the film The Battle of Algiers (released in 1966), shot in the region shortly after independence.
旧植民地のなかでも、長らくフランスの一部とされてきたアルジェリアの支配と抵抗の歴史について、経済史を専門とする見地から研究を行ってきたムハンマド＝サーラフ・ブークシュール氏（アルジェリア・シュレフ大学人文社会学部教授）をお招きし、ご講演いただきます。皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。
