We will hold the 2025 Graduation Ceremony and Results Presentation for the Tosa Food Business Creator Human Resources Development Project

The Tosa Food Business Creator Human Resources Development Project (Tosa FBC) will hold the graduation ceremony and成果発表会 for the 18th cohort of the 2025 academic year on Saturday, March 14, at CHRES Series (155 Takasu-Saji, Kochi City).
Tosa FBC was launched in fiscal year 2008 as part of a food industry human resources development initiative linked to the Kochi Prefecture Industrial Promotion Plan. It is currently operated through collaboration with local organizations and businesses, supported by grants from Kochi Prefecture, and the fourth phase (Tosa FBC IV) of the project began in fiscal year 2023.Under the slogan “Become someone who can make a living through food!”, Tosa FBC implements an educational program to train “Food Business Creators”—specialized professionals who acquire expert knowledge in the food sector as well as the foundational knowledge and technical skills for research and development, and who can comprehensively integrate production, processing, distribution, and sales.
This year, once again, we welcomed many students not only from Kochi Prefecture but from all over Japan. After conducting a full year of online classes (including the Main Course, Introductory Course, and Partial Enrollment Course) and in-person classes (including the Fundamentals of Innovation Creation Course), the 18th cohort—marking the third year of Tosa FBC IV—consisting of 38 students has graduated, bringing the total number of Food Business Creators we have produced to 848.
Following the graduation ceremony, we will also hold a presentation session. The session will feature a keynote speech titled “From ‘Good Things’ to ‘Good Things You Want to Buy’” by Ms. Noriko Shirota, Representative Director of Ryohin Kobo Co., Ltd., as well as presentations by this year’s program graduates and working professionals who have completed the graduate program. The presentation session will also be streamed online, and we sincerely look forward to your participation.
