Announcement Regarding the “17th Tosa Sarabachi Seminar”
Date:
The “17th Tosa Sarabachi Seminar” is a joint seminar centered on interim presentations of practical research by graduate students from Program for Advanced Professional Development in Teacher Education(Teacher Education: Graduate School), where a diverse group of participants come together to learn from one another. In this seminar, graduate students in the Teacher Education Program ( Graduate School) (including Facultyalumni and current students), full-time faculty members (researchers and practitioners), student teaching supervisors (principals, teachers, etc.), representatives from boards of education, and other education professionals from both inside and outside the university gather to analyze educational issues in Kochi Prefecture—as identified by the graduate students—from diverse perspectives and professional viewpoints, and to explore effective practices for resolving these issues.
This time, in addition to oral presentations by graduate students and course-specific discussion sessions (School Management Course, Classroom Practice Course, and Special Needs EducationCourse), there will be a special session featuring a dialogue on “Ideal Education” between Ms. Junko Imajo, Superintendent of the Kochi Prefectural Board of Education, and Graduate Schoolstudents. We look forward to hearing your active input.
