Won the "Youth ECO Support Team" Grand Prize

On November 21, Heisei 22, Faculty of Educationthe “Kojanto ECO Team” ( Faculty of Education—third-year students Kohei Kamitsuma, Naoto Kitagawa, and Yusuke Maeda) received the “Youth ECO Support Team” Grand Prize at the “National Lifelong Learning Forum Kochi Conference Youth ECO Support Team” event.
This award was given in recognition of the project “ECO Activities in Elementary Schools: Environmental Issues Through the Lens of Water Conservation,” which was carried out in collaboration with students from Asakura Elementary School. As part of Kochi Prefecture’s initiative to foster youth environmental support groups ahead of the National Lifelong Learning Forum, teams of high school and college students each set their own themes and carried out activities in partnership with their local communities. This project was highly regarded as an environmental education initiative rooted in school education.
