Received the Poster Presentation Encouragement Award

At the “17th Young Ceramists’ Meeting in Chugoku and Shikoku,” held on November 26 and 27, Heisei 22, Miku Matsumoto, a fourth-year student in the Department of Science Faculty, received the Poster Presentation Encouragement Award.
The “Young Ceramists Meeting in Chugoku-Shikoku” is organized by the Chugoku-Shikoku Branch of the Ceramic Society of Japan. With “ceramics” as the central theme,young researchers from universities, companies, and public research institutions engage in lively discussions to stimulate research. The event also aims to foster the next generation of ceramists. Ms. Matsumoto was awarded the “Encouragement Award” by the judging committee for her presentation titled “Fabrication of Foamed Glass Porous Materials Using Microwave Heating.”
