Assistant Professor Shogo Shimizu of the Department of Pharmacology presented a paper titled “Elucidation of the Molecular Mechanism Underlying the Enhancement of the Urination Reflex by the Stress-Responsive Brain Neurotransmitter Angiotensin II” at the 25th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Urinary Functi (September 27–29, 2018, Nagoya), titled “Elucidation of the Molecular Mechanism of Enhanced Micturition Reflex by the Stress-Responsive Neurotransmitter Angiotensin II in the Brain: Potential Therapeutic Effects Targeting Intracerebral Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptors for Enhanced Micturition Reflex,” was selected for the Japan Society of Urinary Function Awards (Basic Research Category).
On the same day, an award ceremony was held during the 25th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Urinary Function and the Members’ Social Gathering, where the award certificate was presented.
