An article featuring Professor Akira Inoue of the Health Management Center in the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, and others was published in the Asahi Shimbun, covering the progress and origins of the exchange program between our university and a university in Kazakhstan.

 The February 2, 2019, morning edition of the Asahi Shimbun featured an article on the development of exchanges between Kochi University and universities in Kazakhstan, as well as the origins of these exchanges. The article highlighted the activities, academic exchanges, and student exchanges of Professor Akira Inoue of the Health Management Center, Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences. It also covered the experiences of Hinako Inoue, a second-year student in the International Human Resources Development Course of the Tosa Sakigake Program, during her study abroad at the National University of Kazakhstan.
 Starting in late February, a new group of students from our university is scheduled to visit Kazakh National University and Semey National Medical University alongside Professor Inoue for a short-term training program.
Further progress in these exchanges and community-wide collaboration between the two countries is anticipated.
