We held the 18th KMS Research Meeting.

The Association of Associate Professors and Lecturers at the Kochi University School of Medicine organizes the KMS Research Meeting with the aim of presenting research related to medicine and healthcare conducted at universities and research institutions within Kochi Prefecture, facilitating the exchange of opinions, and generating new ideas and opportunities for collaboration in preparation for future research presentations.
Held every February since 2002, this marks the 18th iteration of the event.
This year, on Wednesday, February 6, and Thursday, February 7, a total of 62 general presentations were submitted from the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and the affiliated hospital, among others, and lively discussions took place in a poster session format.
A total of 14 individuals received awards, including the Grand Prize winner, Dr. Hiroaki Kikuchi from the Department of Microbiology.
A lecture by the Grand Prize and Excellence Award winners is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, at 6:00 PM in the Seminar Room of the Graduate School Building at Kochi University’s Okayu Campus.
