Implementation of the Kochi University Certification Course for the 2019 Academic Year (Second-Class Junior High School Teacher’s License in Foreign Languages (English))

Under a commission from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for the “Project to Implement Training Programs to Promote the Utilization of External Personnel in Response to the Introduction of Foreign Languages as a Subject in Elementary Schools,” Kochi University, in collaboration with the Kochi Prefectural Board of Education, will conduct the FY2019 Kochi University Certification Training Program (Second-Class Junior High School Teacher’s License in Foreign Languages (English)) from August 20 to November 10, 2019.
The purpose of this training program is to enable elementary school teachers to earn the credits required to obtain a Type II Junior High School Teacher License (Foreign Language [English]) and to enhance their expertise in foreign language education at the elementary school level.
