Himiko Hirata, a first-year graduate student in the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Marine Sciences, received the Chugoku-Shikoku Branch President’s Award (Oral Presentation Category) at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Chugoku-Shikoku Branch of the Japanese Society of Fisheries Science, held from November 30 to December 1, 2024.
This award is presented to oral presenters under the age of 35 who have delivered outstanding presentations.
Ms. Hirata delivered an oral presentation titled “Elucidation of the Conditions for the Establishment of the Tropical Fish Sazanami Hagi in Temperate Regions,” and she received this award in recognition of the high quality of her presentation.
