◆Kochi University Holds 2024 Activity Report and Networking Event for the Next-Generation Marine Resources Researcher Development Project

 On March 6, we held the Kochi University Next-Generation Marine Resource Researchers Development Project 2024 Activity Report and Networking Session at the Asakura Campus.

 This exchange event was held as part of the JST Next-Generation Researchers’ Challenging Research Program (SPRING) project, for which our university was selected in fiscal year 2024. Approximately 20 participants attended, including students Doctoral Course enrolled Doctoral Course and Doctoral Course.Participants first attended a workshop on writing competitive grant proposals Science Research Center, deepening their understanding of key points for proposal writing. They then listened to research presentations by Applied Science Program, and Medicine Program — Applied Science Program began receiving support this academic year—and engaged in enthusiastic discussions regarding the relevance of these presentations to their own research.Finally, they mingled with faculty members and project staff, enjoying a meaningful time together.

 Applications for students to receive support starting in fiscal year 2025 under this project opened on March 10 (Application period: Monday, April 7, 2025, to Friday, April 11, 2025, at noon). For details, here .
