◆ The 2024 Disaster Prevention Supporter Certification Ceremony was held.

On March 24, 2025, we held the certificate awarding ceremony for disaster prevention supporters for fiscal year 2024.
Kochi University has a certification system for "Disaster Prevention Supporters" and "Disaster Prevention Instructors" to support students' independent efforts in disaster prevention. Students who take four designated general education courses and earn credits are given a certification exam, and upon passing, they are issued a Disaster Prevention Supporter certificate. In the 2024 academic year, four students passed the exam.
認定式では、笹原防災推進センター長から防災サポーターに認定された学生に対して、次のステップとして自主的な取組（防災訓練、防災講座などの学外学習、救命救急講習）などの実績が認められ、認定試験を合格すれば防災インストラクター認定証が交付されることについて説明があり、防災学習の継続とさらなる活躍への期待が述べられました。
