◆Rin Suwa, a senior in the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Marine Sciences, has received the Chugoku-Shikoku Branch President’s Award from the Chemical Society of Japan

 Rin Suwa, a senior in the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry, and Marine Sciences, has received the 2024 Chugoku-Shikoku Branch President’s Award from the Chemical Society of Japan.

 This award recognizes outstanding students with the aim of encouraging those studying chemistry-related fields, and is presented to students with excellent academic records who are scheduled to graduate from chemistry-related departments or programs.

 Mr. Suwa has excelled academically, particularly in specialized chemistry courses. He is a member of the Functional Inorganic Compounds Research Group led by Professor Tadao Ueda and Associate Professor Shuhei Ogawa. For his thesis, he conducted research on “Carbon Dioxide Recycling,” and he received this award in recognition of his dedication and research achievements.
