　We are pleased to announce that a professor emeritus and a former staff member of our university have been awarded honors in the Spring Decorations.

　Order of the Sacred Treasure, 3rd Class: For Distinguished Service in Education and Research—Mr. Gisuke Murase (Professor Emeritus, Kochi University)

　Order of the Sacred Treasure, Second Class with Two Rays: For Distinguished Service in Education and Science Administration—Mr. Yoshifumi Takemi (Former Executive Director for Finance and General Secretary, Kochi University)

　村瀬儀祐氏は、会計学を専門とされ、本学生涯学習教育研究センター長、人文学部社会経済学科長、評議員等を歴任され、本学の発展に尽力されました。

　竹身良文氏は、北陸先端科学技術大学院大学総務部長、独立行政法人教員研修センター総務部長、国立阿蘇青年の家所長、国立大洲青少年交流の家所長、本学理事（財務担当）兼事務局長を歴任され、国立大学等の発展に尽力されました。
