◆Yuna Yamase, a first-year student in the Graduate School’s Department of Sports and Arts and Culture Co-creation, along with Yashou Yoshioka and Yuka Kiyofuji, both second-year students in the Faculty of Education, received awards at the 79th Kochi Prefectural Exhibition.

At the 79th Kochi Prefectural Art Exhibition, Yuna Yamase, a first-year student in the Graduate School’s Program for the Co-creation of Sports and Arts and Culture, won the New Artist Award in the Japanese Painting category and was also selected as a finalist in the Graphic Design category. In the Western Painting category, Yashou Yoshioka, a second-year student in the Art Education Course of the School Education Teacher Training Program in the Faculty of Education, received the Nobutoku Yamawaki Award, while Yuka Kiyofuji received an Honorable Mention.
In addition, Ms. Yamase was selected for the Japanese Painting category at the 79th Tokushima Prefectural Art Exhibition (Ken-ten).
The 79th Kochi Prefectural Art Exhibition is being held from Saturday, October 4, to Sunday, October 19, at the Prefectural Museum of Art (Japanese Painting, Western Painting, and other sections) and Karupoto (Graphic Design and other sections).
