◆Track and Field Team Members Win First Place and Place in the 48th Chugoku-Shikoku Student Track and Field Championships (Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture)

The 48th Chugoku-Shikoku Intercollegiate Track and Field Championships were held from October 17 to 19, 2025, in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture.
Members of our university’s track and field team handled both preparation and operations, and took to the podium as Aika Tojo (2nd year, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) won the women’s 100m hurdles, Tsukino Sugiyama (3rd year, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) placed third in the women’s 10,000m walk, and the men’s 400m relay team (Riki Someya, Kosuke Sawada, Jun Yamashita, and Ren Tsujimatsu) placed third.Additionally, Ren Tsujimatsu (3rd year, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) placed 6th in the men’s 100m and 200m; Eien Nishino (1st year, Faculty of Science and Engineering) placed 6th and Masato Nishizono (3rd year, Faculty of Science and Engineering) placed 7th in the men’s 800m; and the women’s 1600m relay team (Yuzuki Sakuragi, Maho Kawanabe, Misora Nakagawa, and Miten Onishi) placed 8th.
