◆We held the 2025 Multicultural Exchange Coordinator Certification Ceremony

On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, we held the 2025 Academic Year Kochi University Multicultural Exchange Coordinator Certification Ceremony.
The "Multicultural Exchange Coordinator" is a university-specific certification program, and the title is awarded to students who understand diverse cultures and values and are capable of interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. This title is awarded to students who have earned credits in relevant courses, submitted reports on cultural exchange activities, and passed a review process. The university recognizes them as individuals who "understand diverse cultures and values and can put into practice the planning and management of interactions with people from diverse backgrounds."
Two students were certified this time. President Ueda praised their activities, such as planning exchange events with international students and conducting cross-cultural experience tours in Otoyo Town, and expressed his expectations for their future success. The students who received their certificates shared their aspirations, stating, “Even after graduating from university, we want to contribute to society by utilizing the experiences gained through these activities.”
