◆Ko Kataoka, a second-year graduate student in the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Marine Sciences, has received the 2025 Kochi Chemical Society President’s Award

 Ko Katagiri, a second-year graduate student in the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Marine Sciences, has received the 2025 Kochi Chemical Society President’s Award.
This award is presented to graduate students and advanced technical college students in Kochi Prefecture who have achieved outstanding research accomplishments in the field of chemistry.
 Mr. Kataoka is a member of the Functional Inorganic Compounds Research Group led by Professor Tadao Ueda and Associate Professor Shuhei Ogawa. For his master’s thesis, he conducted research titled “Development of Heterogeneous Cation-Doped ZrO₂ Catalysts Promoting Low-Temperature Electric Field-Assisted Propane Dehydrogenation,” and his research achievements were highly evaluated, leading to this award.
