 Himeko Hirata, a second-year graduate student in the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Marine Sciences, received the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Ichthyology, held at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology from November 21 to 24, 2025.
 This award is presented to student members who deliver outstanding research presentations at the annual meeting.
Ms. Hirata delivered an oral presentation titled “Elucidation of Factors Contributing to the Expansion of the Temperate Range of the Tropical Herbivorous Fish Naganiza and Sazanami Hagi”*, and she received this award in recognition of the high academic value of her research.
