Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science received the AgVenture Lab Award at the “2nd Midori Strategy Student Challenge,” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

第２回みどり戦略学生チャレンジ全国大会において、農林海洋科学部４年の弥益琴子さん、渡邊穂夏さん、眞野弥悠さん、土居咲穂さんのグループがAgVenture Lab賞を受賞しました。
Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, this competition is designed for university and high school students—including those at agricultural colleges and high schools—to undertake activities, either individually or in groups, based on the "Green Food System Strategy," and to disseminate and share their results. For the second edition of the competition, a total of 387 entries were received across the high school division and the university/vocational school division, with one award selected for each category.
The group submitted an application titled “Initiatives for Heat Mitigation in Summer Cropping in Response to Climate Change” and, following a review by a panel of experts from within and outside the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, received this award in recognition of its particularly outstanding efforts.
