The 2025 Kochi University Female Researcher Encouragement Award Ceremony was held.

　The Kochi University Award for Female Researchers was presented at a ceremony, with Associate Professor Maiko Sakai of the Department of Education in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Assistant Professor Kaya Ataka of the Department of Collaborative Medicine in the Faculty of Medical Sciences receiving the award. This award was established to recognize female researchers conducting outstanding research, thereby enhancing their motivation and willingness to take on new challenges, promoting research that will lead the future, expanding opportunities for female researchers, and making the university an attractive place for them to work.

　At the awards ceremony, the president presented the recipients with certificates of commendation and offered words of congratulations. We sincerely look forward to their continued success in the future. Congratulations to both of you. In addition, each recipient will receive 100,000 yen in research funding as a supplementary prize.
