This seminar is organized annually by the Chugoku-Shikoku Branch to provide a platform for Graduate Schoolstudents and young researchers—who will lead the future of analytical chemistry—to present their research findings and to foster mutual growth.Furthermore, the award recipient is selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of the student’s research—including its novelty and originality, motivation, hypotheses, results, the validity of the conclusions, and the quality and quantity of the data—as well as the presenter’s delivery skills, such as their level of understanding, concise and clear explanations, precise responses to questions, and insights into future directions and potential for development.

Ms. Myochin delivered an oral presentation titled “Elucidation of Stress Response Mechanisms Based on Electrochemical Analysis of Human Salivary Ions.” She was highly commended not only for her presentation but also for her precise responses during the question-and-answer session, which led to her receiving this award.
