Non-Disclosure Agreement
1. Regarding the Execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement
In the context of industry-academia collaboration, to protect the intellectual property and other assets held by both parties and to maintain mutual trust, a confidentiality agreement (hereinafter referred to as an “NDA”) will first be concluded between the company and the University in the following cases.
- In cases where the disclosure of each party’s technology, trade secrets, and other confidential information is contingent upon the conclusion of a research agreement, and where it takes time to conclude such an agreement
- In cases where it is necessary to disclose confidential information to the other party during preliminary surveys or other activities prior to a research contract, etc.
Furthermore, as a result of subsequent activities, the NDA will be terminated upon the execution of a research agreement or similar contract.
