Research Integrity
With the increasing internationalization and openness of research activities in recent years, new risks have come to light. Concerns have been raised that the fundamental values underpinning the research environment—such as openness and transparency—may be compromised, and that researchers may inadvertently find themselves in situations involving conflicts of interest or conflicts of duty.
Kochi University has established the "Basic Policy on Research Integrity at Kochi University." By implementing initiatives to ensure research integrity (the soundness and fairness of research) through self-regulation, the University will safeguard the fundamental values that underpin the research environment while promoting necessary international cooperation and exchange.
