Use of Lecture Halls and Other Facilities

Facilities at Kochi University (such as lecture rooms) are available for use by members of the public, provided that such use does not interfere with the University’s educational and research activities.
The procedures for use are as follows.

Parking on campus is subject to a fee. The organizers ask participants and others to use public transportation whenever possible; if you must come by car, please park on campus andNever park illegally at nearby commercial facilitiesPlease make sure to follow these instructions thoroughly.

Free for the first 30 minutes after entering the premises Up to 60 minutes: 200 yen
Over 30 minutes but less than 60 minutes: 200 yenOver 60 minutes but less than 90 minutes: 100 yen (total: 300 yen)
Over 60 minutes but less than 90 minutes: 300 yenOver 90 minutes but less than 120 minutes: 100 yen (total: 400 yen)
Over 90 minutes but less than 120 minutes: 400 yenOver 120 minutes: 100 yen (total: 500 yen) 
Over 120 minutes: 500 yen

1. Purpose of Use

  1. Certification exams, recruitment exams, and similar tests administered by entities authorized by public agencies
    (e.g., National Civil Service Recruitment Exam, English Proficiency Test, Real Estate Transaction Manager Qualification Exam, etc.)
  2. Public lectures, seminars, and similar events
  3. Conferences, etc.

Note 2: Please be aware that at the Okayama-Toyo Campus, lecture rooms and other facilities are frequently used for student study groups and other activities outside of class hours (including weekends), so we may not be able to accommodate your request for a reservation.
