Institutional Accreditation

 All national, public, and private universities, junior colleges, and colleges of technology are required to undergo an evaluation (institutional accreditation evaluation) by an accreditation agency certified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology at least once every seven years.
Our university underwent accreditation evaluations conducted by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation in fiscal years 2007, 2014, and 2021, and as a result, was assessed as meeting the university evaluation standards established by the institution.

Accreditation Evaluation of Graduate Schools of Education

 Universities that operate professional colleges or professional graduate schools are required to undergo an evaluation (Professional Graduate School Accreditation Evaluation) conducted by an accreditation agency certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology at least once every five years.At our university, we established the Advanced Teacher Education Program within the Graduate School of Integrated Human and Natural Sciences in fiscal year 2018. In fiscal year 2022, we underwent our first Graduate School of Teacher Education Accreditation Evaluation conducted by the Japan Institute for Teacher Education Evaluation, a general incorporated foundation, and as a result, we were evaluated as meeting the evaluation standards for graduate schools of teacher education established by the institute.
