What the Career Services Office Can Do

For all of you currently engaged in job hunting, the Career Services Office will serve as your base camp. Please feel free to use it as a place to access career-related information, seek advice, and exchange information with fellow students. Just like Media Forest, it is a place that provides the time, space, and network of people where students can drop by casually to think about their future.

Ask at the counter

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Our dedicated staff will be happy to assist you.
We have the most comprehensive information on employment opportunities at Kochi University, including details on required documents, on-campus career fairs, and the latest job postings from companies. We encourage you to visit the office often—ideally enough that the staff will come to recognize your face and name.

Contact us

The Career Services Office has full-time staff available at all times, as well as specialized counselors who are available on specific days and times. Since they can offer advice based on their own professional backgrounds, it’s a good idea to make an appointment in advance. Talking to and seeking advice from working professionals—who are neither parents nor teachers—is a valuable experience. It can also provide helpful tips for company visits and job interviews. Don’t struggle with your concerns alone; please come in and talk to us.

View Job Listings

Job postings sent to Kochi University students can be viewed on the "Job Seminar" page in Moodle Share. Flyer:
If brochures or other materials are available, please feel free to browse the copies organized by prefecture.

Read the newspaper

Once you start your job search, make it a habit to read the newspaper every day. You can read it at the library.
Back issues of the Nihon Kyoiku Shimbun are available for viewing at the Career Services Office.

Learn from books

In addition to specialized books on job hunting, we also have prefecture-specific career guides and materials related to civil service and teaching positions. We carry the "Kaisha Shikihou" (Company Quarterly Report), which is essential for researching companies, as well as specialized monthly magazines. These materials are available not only for browsing in the staff room but also for loan, so please make full use of them. We also accept requests for books you would like us to purchase.
Loans: Up to 3 books for one week . Please fill out the loan register at the front desk .
