About Internships

Internships are designed to help students deepen their understanding of society and develop independence and creativity through hands-on work experience at companies and public organizations. They also aim to provide students with an opportunity to set clear goals for their future studies and student life, as well as to reflect on their own aptitudes.

Since the policies regarding internship courses may vary by Faculty or department, please be sure to consult thoroughly with your instructor and the relevant administrative staff.
The policies regarding internships at Kochi University are as follows.

◎Internship Course

The university recognizes these programs as part of its official curriculum, and they are incorporated into the educational programs of Faculty. Instructors for each course conduct these programs in collaboration with companies and organizations, and upon appropriate evaluation, the credits are recognized as fulfilling graduation requirements.

◎Internships offered by private companies, government agencies, and other organizations
