Gakken Student Accident Insurance with Liability Coverage provides coverage for damages incurred when a student is held legally liable for causing injury to another person or damaging another person’s property during regular classes, school events, extracurricular activities, or while traveling to or from such activities, andOnly subscribers to the "Student Education and Research Accident Insurance (Gakken-sai)" are eligible to enroll.

(While enrollment is optional Graduate School, you may be required to enroll in this insurance or another policy of equivalent or greater coverage in order to use the university’s educational and research facilities.)

Reporting an Accident and Filing an Insurance Claim
If an accident covered by this insurance occurs, please report it immediately to the administrative office responsible for your campus. If you fail to notify the insurance company within 30 days of the accident, your claim may not be paid.
