Message from the Center Director

Director, Center for Creative Learning Development: Kozo Iwasaki

Center for Creative Learning Development was established in October 2022 through the reorganization and integration of three existing educational centers: the Center for University Education Innovation, the Admissions Center, and the Center for Comprehensive Student Support.

Section for Educational Planning and Research consists of two divisions: Section for Educational Planning and Research (Admissions Unit, Quality Assurance in Learning Unit, and Career Development Unit) Section for Student Support (Learning Support Unit and Office for Inclusion Support). From a university-wide perspective, we are engaged in planning, proposing, and implementing initiatives related to research, studies, and public relations regarding student admissions; the development of educational programs to achieve our human resource development goals; career development; and academic support for students.

Through these initiatives, we aim to further advance educational improvement and student support at our university. We will also strengthen collaboration among the three existing educational centers to establish an academic IR framework that contributes to maintaining and enhancing educational quality, with the goal of realizing creative and sustainable learning experiences that span from pre-enrollment through graduation.

The name Center for Creative Learning Development embodies our aspiration to be an organization that supports students’ independent and active learning and enriches their university life, as well as a creative organization that generates new forms of learning. To ensure the Center’s efforts bear fruit, we will further advance collaboration between faculty and staff, and all members of our faculty and staff will dedicate themselves fully to these initiatives. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
