Regarding an Error in the 2025 Kochi University General Admissions (First-Term Schedule) and Self-Supporting International Student Admissions (Apology)
2025年２月25日・26日に実施しました2025年度高知大学医学部医学科一般選抜（前期日程）及び私費外国人留学生選抜の英語科目において、外部からの指摘により、問題の解答例に誤りがあることが2025年６月に判明しました。さらに、学内で他の問題も含め、再検証を行った結果、語句の並べ替え問題において、新たに加点できる解答があること、加えて複数の誤植があること（受験者の解答に影響がなかったものと判断しました）も判明しました。
We immediately re-graded all examinees’ papers and re-evaluated their results, and it has been determined that one additional candidate has passed. As a result of this, no one has failed.
We promptly notified the newly admitted applicants and their families of this situation, apologized, and explained the circumstances surrounding the admission error. We subsequently discussed the next steps with them and have received their approval.
Although we conduct our entrance examinations with the utmost care, we sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience this incident has caused to all examinees and other stakeholders. We take this matter very seriously and will strengthen our verification procedures and make every effort to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
